How Silver Linings Came To Be
Silver Linings Massage and Wellness was founded by Janet Adam.

Janet learned ASL (American Sign Language) from the deaf community. In 1997, she graduated from college with 2 diplomas--Community Support Worker and Special Education Assistant.

She has been in the field of caring for others for many years. She was a careworker, coach for Special Olympics, and foster parent.

Janet decided to follow a childhood interest and became a truck driver in 2004. She enjoyed being a long haul truck driver. Janet was able to meet new people and see places she never thought she would. That career ended when Janet was very badly hurt in an accident in 2007. While on the job, her truck was dropped 20 feet while she was in the driver's seat. Janet suffered head, neck and back injuries. The concussion she received and the mild traumatic brain injury made her world difficult to follow and understand, the physical injuries and navigating painful. As a result, reaching her therapies was difficult.

In 2015, Janet decided to return to school. It was a difficult decision and she knew that she would struggle regardless of the field she choose.
Janet enjoy making others feel better. After careful consideration, she chose massage therapy. Her goal was to become a therapist that reaches clients that have difficulty reaching a clinic.
